Music/Sound Recording
Chirbit (www.chirbit.com)
Chirbit is an audio recording space. It allows up to 2 hours of recordings per user (free of charge). And up to 5 minutes per recording. Students can follow other students and teachers and share audio through blogs or hyperlinks. They can record right on the spot as long as they have a microphone built in or provided with their computer. It is very easy to use. It can also work as a mini-blog. You can upload text and video as well. It can be used as a way to compile text, audio, and video on one page. It doesn’t allow much room for creativity if being used as a blog because you can’t really change fonts or colors. It’s all pretty standard and basic. Overall, it is a good way to share audio files when recording books or recording a presentation.
Noteflight (http://www.noteflight.com/login)
Compose and play back music; limited free use.
