Gooru is a free search engine for learning. Teachers and students can use Gooru to search for rich collections of multimedia resources, digital textbooks, videos, games and quizzes created by educators in the Gooru community.

cK-12 is a teaching tool that provides educational content resources, including complete textbooks, for specific topics and customizable resources for each state. CK-12 provides video and audio to enhance learning, uses photos and illustrations to show concepts, allows interaction with material, provides examples that students can relate to, can be edited to fit individual students, keeps track of progress, allows lessons to be shared online, and provides homework help. When researching the different content on the site I thought it was helpful that there were readings, activities, interactive tools, and assessments provided.

Digital Passport by Common Sense Education is a suite of engaging games that address key issues facing kids in today's digital world (digital citizenship).There is an educator guide for using the games effectively for instruction. The games can be shared to Google classroom. Free, good quality resource.
GoNoodle Exercise Videos (https://www.gonoodle.com/home)
This application requires you to create an account and you need to enter the school that you teach at in order to do so. However, I was able to briefly view this application during my practicum placement where this application was used to play videos that encouraged the students to dance and let out energy during indoor recess. This application allows teachers to play a variety of different videos. Some prompt students to dance, others prompt students to run in place and the video shows a track that students are racing on. This is great to use as a brain break for students and to incorporate some physical activity in the classroom because research shows that physical activity helps students concentrate in class and retain information learned.
